Anurag Kashyap called the Indian government ‘dumb’, says “they don’t have a plan”
Anurag Kashyap is one of those Bollywood celebrities who have remained very vocal against the controversial Indian citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) which was implemented on 10th January.
The famous Indian director often faces backlash from his own countrymen for raising his voice against the current government of India and BJP.
Recently, Anurag Kashyap has directly called out the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, asking him to show his own papers first before asking the citizens to submit their documents.
Taking to Twitter, Anurag Kashyap demanded Modi to reveal his degree, his own birth certificate and also his father’s and family’s birth certificates and then ask others to show their documents.
Here’s what he wrote:
“Today CAA has been enforced. Tell Modi to first show his papers, his degree in ‘entire political science’ as well as his father’s and family’s birth certificate to the entire nation. Then ask for our papers.”
Anurag Kashyap also called the Indian government ‘dumb’ in another tweet and added that they don’t have a plan.
“This government can get into a dialogue if they know how to talk. They can not face a single question that’s not been vetted, they don’t have a plan, they haven’t put out a system. This is a dumb government. There CAA is like demonetisation. No plan. No vision. Just bullying.”
