Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Criticizes Sanjay Dutt’s ‘Panipat’
The upcoming Bollywood film ‘Panipat’ has become the center of attention on the internet soon after its trailer got released. Starring Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, the film is based on the Battle of Panipat.
Sanjay Dutt will play the role of famous Muslim ruler Ahmad Shah Abdali whereas, Arjun Kapoor will be seen as Sadashiv Rao Bhau and Kriti Sanon as Parvati Bai.
However, the trailer of ‘Panipat’ is receiving conflicting as Bollywood will once again portray another historic Muslim personality as barbaric in this upcoming film directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has also called out India for another depicting Muslim rulers/invaders as savages.
The Federal Minister of Science and Technology said that this is what happens when people try to manipulate history under political influence.
Here’s what he wrote:
When idiots try to rewrite history under RSS influence, this is the minimum one should expect. Agay agay deikheiye hota hai kiya.
Where India and Afghanistan are working on strengthening their ties, the trailer of ‘Panipat’ has also raised questions among Afghanis for portraying the famous Afghan ruler Ahmed Shah Abdali in a negative role.
Dr. Shaida Arif, an ex-Afghani presidential candidate, hopes that Bollywood will do justice in the depiction of this important episode of ‘shared history’!
Dear Sanjay Dutt jee: Historically, the Indian cinema has been extremely instrumental in strengthening the Indo-Afghan ties. I very much hope that Panipat has kept that fact in mind while dealing with this important episode of our shared history!
