The studio has decided to push the release of the most anticipated flick of the year Fast 9 due to the outbreak of coronavirus in the whole world. The economic crisis is affecting the whole cinema businesses around the globe.
Due to the pandemic, cinemas around the globe are in a total lockdown phase especially in Italy, China, and South Korea.
Vin Diesel has recently announced on his social media that the release date of Fast 9 is being pushed forward due to the corona outbreak. Many cinemas are closed and most of the people won’t be able to see the flick.
According to the box office numbers, we have seen the majority of the revenue of the film is collected from overseas and their decision to push forward was very acceptable and understandable because it will be a big loss for the film to go ahead with a release under present circumstances.
The budget of the Vin Diesel starrer is more than $200m that will now hit the screens in April 2021.
