Faysal Quraishi signs a Hollywood film
It seems Faysal Quraishi’s return to films is not a temporary one. The veteran actor who worked in 19 films during the 1990s, is returning to films with Sorry: A Love Story, and while that film is still under production, Faysal Quraishi has signed another film.
The untitled project will feature him alongside Faran Tahir who will also be producing the project. Helmed by the Gumm team Kanza Zia and Ammar Lasani, the film will also feature Sami Khan and Hameed Sheikh in prominent roles, making their fans excited.
Sami Khan joins hands with makers of Gumm Sami Khan who made his cinematic comeback with Gumm is already part of two upcoming projects including Lafangey and Yaara Vey.
He and Faysal Quraishi acted together in Bashar Momin which was considered one of the costliest TV plays. As for Hameed Sheikh, his involvement will raise the bar as he only works in quality flicks, such as Khuda Kay Liye, 021, Abdullah: The Final Witness and Moor.
Faran Tahir to share the screen with Pakistani actors…
Faran Tahir who was last week seen in an episode of CBS TV series FBI has been acting in Hollywood for a long time. Before his involvement in the reboot of Star Trek, he was part of Charlie Wilson’s War, Iron Man, Escape Plan and has appeared in countless flicks and TV shows.
Earlier this year he performed in Karachi alongside his brother Ali Tahir in theatre play Bhai Bhai which was loved by all. His fans are waiting for his first film where he will be sharing the screen with Pakistani actors for the very first time.
Faysal Quraishi to make a filmi comeback with two films Faysal Quraishi is currently working in three drama serials – one for Express Entertainment, one for Geo Entertainment and one for ARY Digital.
If all goes according to plan, he might have two releases next year including Sorry: A Love Story and this Hollywood flick.
