Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer connects the dots from the second part!
If you have seen previous parts of the Ghost hunting comedy then you know what to do … “who you gonna call Ghostbusters!”
The latest flick in the franchise is coming soon, and the trailer looks more serious than comic. But we shouldn’t judge the book by its cover though, we are hoping to see some good comedy along with some quality ghost hunting.
The trailer shows that the descendants of Egon Spengler (the late Harold Ramis) are on the move. The plot revolves around his daughter-in-law who is a struggling mom who moves her two kids to a small town of Oklahoma after she inherits a farm. The family learns the truth about their family and the supernatural secrets of the town.
In the trailer, we can also see the old Ecto-1 Ambulance and as well as the famous Ghost trap which was used by the Ghostbusters team.
The other cast includes Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd who will play an important part in the sequel. The original cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts are all set to reprise their role for Ghostbusters: Afterlife and are returning to the franchise after 30 years.
The flick has been directed by Jason Reitman who is the son Ivan Reitman, the man behind the first two flicks. The ghost will unleash in theatres on July 10, 2020.
