Golden Globe 2021 Also Postponed Due To COVID-19 Pandemic!
After Oscars, the Golden Globe Awards have also been delayed!
The pandemic has caused every event around the world to get delayed due to the threat of coronavirus and even Oscars have been postponed due to the pandemic and now Golden Globe 2021 Awards are also being postponed.
The Golden Globe Awards have been scheduled for February 28 instead of the previous schedule that was always on the first Sunday of January, confirms the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. A few days back, Oscars also rescheduled the event from February 28 to April 25.
According to the HFPA, they will share the new date of the Golden Globe nominations and eligibility criteria in the coming weeks. The delay in the awards will help the filmmakers to complete their pending projects as the production was seized due to the global pandemic.
Other Awards like Britain’s BAFTA event has also been rescheduled for fall near to Oscars. Hollywood movies and TV shows have recently been allowed to resume shoots two weeks ago with guidelines on maintaining proper social distancing and frequent testing for COVID-19.
