James Cameron is back in action!
The shoot of the sequel of the most awaited film of Hollywood has been resumed after it was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The producers and the team have started shooting in New Zealand as they shared the picture of the set on their Instagram.
Producer Jon Landau shared saying:
“Used my iPhone to snap a picture of our first shot back in production on the ‘Avatar’ sequel.”
The picture shows the full set where Cameron was sitting behind an extended camera crane. In an interview with Jon Landau who shared with a media outlet in New Zealand:
“This one production alone is going to hire 400 New Zealanders to work on it and we’re going to spend, in the next five months alone, over $70 million here.”
The shoot was suspended when New Zealand went into lockdown due to the Corona pandemic. The shoot of the sequel of Avatar is among the few that have recently started their production as the Producer of the film concludes with, “the opportunities are immense.”
