You don’t want to get Rambo angry!
He may not be needed by his country but John Rambo is a one-man army who should not be tested, be it in a war zone or at home. In the upcoming Rambo film titled Last Blood, Sylvester Stallone returns for one last time (possibly) to go all Home Alone against those who rattled the sleeping beast inside him.
Is Last Blood Stallone’s Unforgiven
What Unforgiven was to Clint Eastwood, Rambo: Last Blood is to Stallone. In this Chapter, he has settled down in Arizona where he rides horses, relaxes in a rocking chair and stays away from trouble, until trouble finds him.
The time has come to face my past!
In the film’s trailer, Rambo narrates that after all these years, ‘the time has come to face my past.’ The trailer shows that he enters Mexico to rescue a friend’s kidnapped grand-daughter, and all hell breaks loose for the opposition. He does a Kevin McAllister by setting up traps at his ranch for those who want to barge in, without knocking.
Nearly four decades later, Stallone still has the power
Directed by Adrian Grunberg, the fifth installment of Rambo also stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Yvette Monreal. The story takes place 37 years after the Vietnam War veteran returned home only to an unwelcoming Sherriff. Here, he also has unwelcomed guests, and we all know what he does to those he doesn’t desire.
Stallone returns as one-man-army after an 11-year gap!
The last time Rambo was needed, he was very violent. That was 11 years ago and now, with age not being on his side, he is smarter if slow in reflexes. The trailer shows that he can beat the hell out of anyone, be it a young man or an old one. He may not have directed the movie but he has scripted it, returning Rambo to his roots again. The film is all set for a release later this year on September 20.
