Robert Downey Jr. is back but in a different avatar!
After playing Iron Man, one of the most beloved Superheroes, Robert Downey Jr. embarks on a new journey. In place of the Avengers, his new furry friends will accompany him in Dolittle. Universal Pictures is all set to bring the classic story alive of the man who can talk to animals.
“We have no choice but to embark on this perilous journey,” Robert says in the trailer.
The story revolves around Dr. Dolittle who embarks on a journey to save the young Queen of England. Along the way, he faces many dangers in which his animal friends help him.
Previously titled “The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle”, the film’s title was cut down to just Dolittle. The makers also changed the release of the flick from April 12, 2019, to next year.
Stephen Gaghan directs Dolittle while with Robert Downey Jr starring in it with Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Tom Holland, Ralph Fiennes, Emma Thompson, Octavia Spencer, and Kumail Nanjiani.
“Dolittle” will hit theaters on Jan. 17, 2020.
