Robert Downey Jr. bid a dramatic farewell to the franchise!
It was the moment when fans were left devastated after Iron Man died in the Avengers: Endgame. Robert Downey Jr. the actor who played the character, however, has come up with a twist.
He said that fans may not have seen his last take on Tony Stark, on which he has worked very hard. He said in his recent interview,
“Yeah, anything could happen. I’m really enjoying. As far as I’m concerned, I hung up my guns and I’m good to let it go. I also think Marvel is on this journey now and they’re trying a bunch of other stuff, and I’m excited for them to see how all that goes. It’s hard to project.”
Robert Downey Jr. joined the Marvel’s Cinematic Universe in 2008 when no cinematic universe existed. He played the character for more than 10 years and also appeared in at least 10 movies of MCU. Iron Man also gets an honorable mention in Spider-Man: Far From Home.
According to some rumors he might appear in Black Widow, which would be set in the past. However, another Robert Downey Jr. movie Dolittle will hit theaters on January 17, 2020.
