Spider-Man fans can’t be happier!
Spider-Man will stay in Marvel Cinematic Universe after Sony and Disney came to terms by agreeing on a deal.
Fans are very much excited with this news, as their favorite friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will continue his journey in MCU.
Both the companies have jointly announced an agreement to produce the third installment of Spider-Man starring Tom Holland. The deal also states that Spider-Man will also appear in the other upcoming MCU movies.
Kevin Feige shared his joy and stated:
“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it.”
“Spider-Man is a powerful icon and hero whose story crosses all ages and audiences around the globe. He also happens to be the only hero with the superpower to cross cinematic universes, so as Sony continues to develop their own Spidey-verse you never know what surprises the future might hold,” says Feige.
Even the Producer of the previous two films Amy Pascal shared her happiness saying:
“This is terrific. Peter Parker’s story took a dramatic turn in Far From Home and I could not be happier we will all be working together as we see where his journey goes.” Amy Pascal is all set to produce the third film of Spider-Man.
However, there had been fears that Spider-Man would have to leave the Marvel Cinematic Universe because of the disagreement between Sony and Disney. But it’s a piece of good news that Sony changed its mind.
Moreover, Sony and Disney also announced the release date of the third movie that is expected to hit theatres on 16 July 2021.
