We will have to wait for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet a bit longer!
The most anticipated film of the year ‘Tenet’, that is directed by Christopher Nolan himself has been delayed again.
Tenet was initially planned to be released on 17 July, next month, then it later shifted to a further date but now the date has been changed yet again and the film will now be released on August 12.
The movie was delayed due to the pandemic situation globally and especially in the US. The USA is experiencing a massive surge in new cases especially in South and West America. Some of the states of the US like Texas and Florida are experiencing a record-setting number of new cases from the last few days.
In a statement, Warner Bros. said:
“We are releasing the thriller mid-week to allow audiences to discover the film in their own time and it will play in theaters over a longer period of time beyond the normal run of blockbuster movies.”
Tenet has a star-studded cast that includes John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Kenneth Branaugh, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Denzil Smith and Michael Caine. The film is all set to release on August 12 so mark your calendars for the most anticipated movie of the year!
