Terminator Is Back With A Bang!
The theatrical trailer of Terminator – Dark Fate is out and we can’t be happier. It not just brings back franchise creator James Cameron as a producer but also reunites the original Sarah Connor and Terminator. Yes, Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger will share the screen for the first time since 1991, although their characters were part of Terminator: Genisys that was released in 2015.
What is Terminator – Dark Fate About?
Terminator – Dark Fate follows the adventures of Sarah Connor in recent times where she continues to fight against Terminators from the future. However, when an advanced terminator pays them a visit from the future to kill Dani Ramos (Natalia Reyes), she joins hands with the aging (Schwarzenegger) and available (Mackenzie Davis) terminators to save the world and our future.
Why should we be excited for Terminator – Dark Fate?
Although this film would be the sixth installment in the Terminator franchise, it is the direct sequel of Terminator 2: Judgement Day, Why? Because it is based on a story by the very person who created the series, James Cameron. With his involvement as a producer, it seems that the film will have advanced special effects that made the first two films in the series memorable and everlasting.
What does the trailer tell us?
Terminator franchise is all set to get a huge uplift with the return of its main characters. You don’t see Eddie Furlong’s John Connor in the trailer but he will be there as per sources. What the trailer tells us is that Sarah Connor didn’t stop fighting machines after Judgement Day and that’s how she finds out that there is a new Terminator out there to destroy another girl who may not be Sarah Connor but is important to the future.
The action sequences we experience in the trailer are top-notch and why wouldn’t they be. Tim Miller who directed Deadpool is at the helm and he sure knows how to handle action scenes. Then there is Arnold Schwarzenegger who steals the scenes he is in and the same can be said about Linda Hamilton. So go to the cinemas when the film is released in November if you want to live. Hasta La Vista, Baby!
