The Kissing Booth 2 deals with Elle and Noah struggles in a long-distance relationship!
Netflix movie The Kissing Booth 2 created much hype when the online streaming app shared the trailer of the upcoming flick because the first part of the movie was amazing and a unique tale of best friends and love life, which was breathable change.
However, while the first part turned out to be a hit is where the second just misses the target and deviated to all the same consequential problems of teen romance witnessed nowadays.
The Kissing Booth 2 has returned with the same cast but there was a lack of storytelling in it as in a nutshell we will say that the movie was based more on the struggles of Elle and Noah dealing with the long-distance relationship.
This time the movie was less about the friendship and more about the love triangle that kills the amazing essence of the whole concept of The Kissing Booth first part which was all about how to keep your childhood crazy, friendship intact with the struggle to keep your best friends for life’s brother as your boyfriend.
Most of the time Elle (Joey King) and Noah (Jacob Elordi) were apart trying to keep their relation normal relations like before but struggling. But here comes the crazy old trick that is always there that a new guy Marco (Taylor Zakhar Perez) enters the school and is eye candy for every chick falls for the wrong girl who is already taken.
We missed Lee (Joel Courtney) in the sequel very much cause there was not much of a stance of his character present in the whole film the friendship between Elle and Lee was shown as loose strands of an untie shoes.
However, the film was very much entertaining but it can have more of an element in it to give viewers more details of the character’s lives after the first part.
The film is written by Vince Marcello and he is the one too who calls the shots, all in all, it was a good teen rom-com with the same old storyline but the journey was fun-filled with some lighter moments to laugh upon.
The verdict is:
