The Legend of Maula Jatt expected to release on this Eid ul Fitr!
Finally, the most anticipated film of Pakistan The Legend of Maula Jatt gets the green signal as the producer of the original “Maula Jatt” Sarwar Bhatti has withdrawn all the legal cases against the film and we can expect it to be released on this Eid ul Fitr.
Starring the superstars of Pakistan Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick, The Legend of Maula Jatt is making headlines since the last year and fans have been for its big release across Pakistan.
The film was intended to release on Eid-ul-Fitr 2019 however, things got delayed after Sarwar Bhatti, the producer of “Maula Jatt” (1979) filed a case against the team of The Legend of Maula Jatt over copyrights issues.’
In December 2018, Ammara Hikmat the co-producer of ‘The Legend of Maula Jatt’, had sent Rs. 500,000,000 legal notice to Sarwar Bhatti for the circulation of defamatory remarks on both print and social media against the release of their film.
According to Pakistani Cinema, Sarwar Bhatti has now withdrawn all the legal cases against Ammara Hikmat and Bilal Lashari and said that they are like his own children.
He further added that if they were to release the film on Eid ul Fitr, he wouldn’t hinder their plans in any way.
Talking to Pakistani Cinema, Ammara Hikmat has also confirmed that everything is now clear between both parties.
With a powerful trailer in 2018, ‘The Legend of Maula’ created a hype among the audience with a star-studded cast and a promising story. The writer of the original film Nasir Adeeb believes that film may well be the first Pakistani film to gross 100 crores at the Box Office.
