The Matrix 4: Is Laurence Fishburne Is Returning To The Franchise Like Others?
Matrix 4 is bringing the key cast back together!
The main leads of The Matrix series are also returning, especially Keanu Reeves as Neo and Carrie Anne-Moss as Trinity.
But there is a buzz about the return of our favorite iconic pill-offerer with cool and unique shades and the teacher of Christ Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) will be returning to reprise his role in the fourth installment?
The answer to this big question is revealed when he gave an interview to a media outlet saying “an emphatic nope.”
Yes, you heard right!
When he asked about his involvement in the upcoming project he said:
“I have not been invited. Maybe that will make me write another play. I wish them well. I hope it’s great.”
However, Lana Wachowski the original co-director of the Matrix trilogy is ready to pen down the script and direct the new sequel.
“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends,” says Wachowski.
The film will be expected to release on 1, April 2022.
