Tom Cruise takes a break from Mission: Impossible filming!
Tom Cruise was having the rehearsals of his upcoming Mission: Impossible 7 and he seemingly found himself hungry in the mid of it and it wasn’t available on the menu of production offices.
So there was no stopping for the star to reach the star arriving at The Richmond Golf Club to grab some lunch but that is not what is unusual the most shocking thing is that the action star arrived at the club via helicopter.
Yes, you heard it right!
Tom Cruise went to the club in the helicopter through the club was located in Southwest London and it wasn’t too far as well from the set of the upcoming sequels. Both Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 are scheduled to shoot back to back which was previously halted before the shoot begins officially.
According to the assistant director Tommy Gormley:
“We hope to start shooting again in September. We were days from shooting in Venice — we were right at the epicenter when it all kicked off — so we had to shut down in Venice where we were four or five days from shooting.”
He further added:
“We hope to restart in September, we hope to visit all the countries we planned to and look to do a big chunk of it back in the UK on the backlot and in the studio, so September through to end April/May is our targets. We are convinced we can do this.”
Tom Cruise will be working with the returning cast members that include Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, with long time franchise veteran Ving Rhames, and even Henry Czerny from the original film of 1996. The new cast includes Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, and Esai Morales as the main villain.
Director Christopher McQuarrie is returning as writer and director for both sequels. McQuarrie also shared how the two films will be interconnected this time with the nerve-wracking cliffhanger from seventh to eighth.
Mission: Impossible 7 is expected to release on November 19, 2020, and Mission: Impossible 8 is slated to release on November 4, 2020. However, it all depends on the completion of the shoot of both films.
