Wonder Woman returns to DC Universe after 70 years!
Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman is returning to the big screens to save the world, again. The most anticipated DC movie of the upcoming year Wonder Woman is set into the future, 70 years after World War I.
This time the Amazonian Princess has more dangerous enemies; one of her friends Barbara Minerva who eventually turns into a villain named Cheetah. Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman has to save the world from the bad guys and she does that in her own style.
The recent trailer shows a lot of action-packed fight sequences, but none is as important as the return of Steve Trevor, played by Chris Pine. His character was assumed dead in the last flick and it remains to be seen how the makers justify his presence 70 years in the future.
In the trailer, we can see one funny side of Diana, telling Steve Trevor about the modern world like the way he introduced Diana to the world in the first flick.
Everyone’s favorite bad guy these days is Pedro Pascal and he takes over the role of Maxwell Lord, the King of Informercials here. The film also stars Kristen Wiig as Cheetah, Robin Wright as Antiope and Connie Nielson as Hippolyta.
The flick has been directed by Patty Jenkins who is all set to take the audience on another magical ride. The film is all set to hit the theatres on 5 June 2020.
